Cross-platform file and archive manager. PeaZip is an archiver tool that supports its native Pea archive format (featuring compression, split volumes, and flexible encryption and integrity check schemes) and other mainstream formats, with special focus on handling open formats. PeaZip doesn’t need to be installed/unistalled, it can run from any path (even remote; a writeable path is recommended), however Windows version is released both as a standalone binary and as a fully automated installer/uninstaller package, allowing tight system integration to use PeaZip right from Explorer. Features volume spanning, compression, authenticated encryption. · It is possible to execute archiving/extraction jobs with no items in layout, if advanced filters are in use
· History menu replicated in archiving/extraction navigation menus allows to quickly select paths visited in current session from archive/extract interfaces
· It is now possible to set custom default output path for archiving operations (like for extraction operations), and it is now possible to go from file browser to empty extraction interface (i.e. to add archives to be extracted by drag and drop) clicking on Extract button with no archive selected, likewise to what is possible for going to empty archiving interface
