Modem drivers for USB are installed together with the USB cable. After installing this modem scripts, your phone can be used for standard Windows Dial-Up Networking, either by using Sony Ericsson Mobile Networking Wizard or by using the tools in Windows to set up a network connection.
Installation instructions:
Download the zip file to your computer. Remember where you place it.
Unzip the file to a temporary folder.
Open the Control Panel.
Open Phone and Modem options.
Select the Modems tab.
Select 'Add'.
Check the 'Don’t detect my modem' option.
Select ‘Have Disk...’
Browse to the temporary folder in step 2 and select the desired modem, select ‘Open’.
Select ‘OK’, then ‘Next’
Select the COM-port that you want to use, then select ‘Next’
Download and install the USB Flash Driver and you'll be able to use Update Service to update your phone's software via the USB cable.
Installation instructions:
1. Download the zip file to your computer. Remember where you put it.
2. Unzip the file to a temporary folder.
3. Turn off your V800/Vodafone 802SE.
4. Connect your V800/Vodafone 802SE to the PC using the USB cable.
5. Hold down the left navigation key '<' on the phone and press the Power On/Off button. This will start the Windows Found New hardware wizard that will be used during the installation.
6. Follow the instructions in the wizard; choose to "Install from a list ..", then press "Next".
7. Browse to the temporary folder created under step 2 above to point to the driver to install, then press "Next".
8. When the driver is installed, press "Finish".
Download and install the USB drivers to be able to connect your phone to a PC using the USB cable. Installation instructions:
