Apache XML Project...

Apache XML Project's goals are:

  • To provide commercial-quality standards-based XML solutions that are developed in an open and cooperative fashion,
  • To provide feedback to standards bodies (such as IETF and W3C) from an implementation perspective, and
  • To be a focus for XML-related activities within Apache projects
The Apache XML Project used to be the home for many XML-related subprojects, many of which have moved to top-level project status recently or are currently in migration. The Apache XML Project slowly transforms into an place where you can find pointers to XML-related projects here in the Apache Software Foundation.

RiverGate Rss Reader...

RSS feeds can be extremely useful as they deliver automatically updated information directly to your desktop. This allows you to stay well informed about any subject, topic, issue that interests you – whether news, job listings, personals, and classifieds, you’ll always know what’s going on.

In order to be able to use/read feeds (which an increasing number of sites offer – it’s that small icon that reads either RSS or XML) you need a utility, an RSS reader which is exactly what we offer you here.

RiverGate Rss Reader is a FREE news aggregator or feed reader that uses web feed to retrieve syndicated web content such as weblogs, podcasts, vlogs, and mainstream media websites, or in the case of a search aggregator, a customized set of search results.

Installing RiverGate Rss Reader will only take a few seconds. Then, when launching RiverGate Rss Reader you will have a left panel displaying RSS feeds (or channels) to which you are subscribed. On the right you will have another panel listing articles within the channel selected at that moment with the publish date also showing, and further to the right the description of the articles together with their source. Beneath the list and right in the middle the actual article you want to read will be displayed. You can click a channel to show its articles and then click an article to show its content. If you want to switch between channel groups, simply click the drop-down box at the upper left under the menus.

RiverGate Rss Reader really helps you save valuable time and effort you would otherwise employ to regularly check websites for updates, creating a unique information space. It’s like having your "personal newspaper".

This tool provides consolidated view of the content in a built-in browser. To make it as easy as possible for anyone willing to use such a program RiverGate Rss Reader has a very simple, clean interface without any redundant buttons just for the visual sake. You will instantly learn to manage this program!

Thin FTP Upload 2.0...

Thin Upload is a general purpose multiple file uploader. Once Thin Upload is installed on your website, visitors will be able to send you their files simply by dropping them the designated area of their browser.

With traditional HTML form based uploads, each transfer is limited to a handlfull of files. With Thin Upload thousands of files and folders can be sent at once. A browse button can also be displayed for users who may prefer it, this button can also be used to select multiple files and folders.

Another difference between HTML forms and our applet is that the maximum upload size can be checked before a single byte has been transfered saving bandwidth. Another feature of the applet is it's ability to display a progress monitor while the files are in transit. As the name suggests Thin Upload is an ultra thin client that is compatible with all popular server side scripting/programming languages such as PHP, Perl, ASP.NET etc. At just 50 Kilo Bytes it loads almost instantly.
