You also get management options. While XPlay is the perfect complement to iTunes, XPlay also makes it possible to use your iPod with Windows Media Player or Vista Media Center.
XPlay gives iPhone and iPod touch users drive letter access, meaning you can access your phone and touch like any other disk. Go to "My Computer" and your device will now be listed. You can now browse everything and even copy music off your iPhone and touch. As an added bonus you can now use your iPhone and touch as an external drive. Copy any file directly to the phone or touch and transfer that file to another computer.
XPlay integrates your iPod with Windows Media Player 11 giving you the power to manage your music and photos with more than iTunes. Thanks to XPlay, your iPod will appear as a Portable Device in Media Player making it possible to sync your music and photos.
