SpellForce: Shadow o...

Here`s the release of a new patch for all language versions of SpellForce, fixing some minor problems and logic issues. Also, the new netcode is now really capable of handling several players with different language versions, both in coop and pvp games. The problem with Gold Edition and the second addon, Shadow of the Phoenix, making internet games impossible, was fixed too.

Please keep in mind, that the patch includes several maps (Coop_43_dark_Kathai, Coop_43_light_Kathai, Questplace) for the second Add-On "Shadow of the Phoenix". If you try to load one of these without having the second AddOn installed, your system will crash.

The patch is available in two versions: A small one (16MB) for all of those already playing Shadow of the Phoenix, and a large one (58MB) for all other SpellForce fans.

Call of Duty: World ...

This patch will update Call of Duty: World at War from version 1.6 to version 1.7 with a few multiplayer fixes.

You will need a World at War installation already updated to version 1.6 for this patch to work.

Patch notes:

  • Fixed an MP server crash exploit.
  • Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
  • Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
  • Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.

This is the latest patch for the expasion pack of the game Sims 3: World Adventures

Players can take their Sims on new journeys to famous real-world inspired destinations around the globe and seek out new adventures. While exploring the landmarks of an exotic city, there is no telling what the Sims will find.

From mastering martial arts in Shang Simla, China, discovering rich culture and famous landmarks on a romantic getaway to Champs Les Sims, France or exploring the depths of ancient tombs in Al Simhara, Egypt, players can take their Sims on a journey that will change their Sims' lives.

You can even go on a quest for a treasure hunt, learn new skills and chase down new personal opportunities, meet new Sims with unique personalities, share their culture and bring them home, discover new styles on their travels, and share everything they encounter on their adventures with the world through personal photographs, movies, and stories.

- Fixes issues with the Input Method Editor for players on the Japanese SKU. Also addresses some functionality errors in the launcher.
- Fixes a bug that prevents collectible Beetles from showing up in game.
- Fixes a bug that causes Sims to teleport off of some of the new beds in SP01.
- Fixes crashes and stalls when multiple patches are being installed.

DNSDataView 1.03...

This utility is a GUI alternative to the NSLookup tool that comes with Windows operating system. It allows you to easily retrieve the DNS records (MX, NS, A, SOA) of the specified domains. You can use the default DNS server of your Internet connection, or use any other DNS server that you specify. After retrieving the DNS records for the desired domains, you can save them into text/xml/html/csv file.
