Unreal Media Server ...

Unreal Media Server is a software streaming server for Windows operating systems, offering rich choice of live and on demand streaming functionality.

The server supports live media sources and recorded media files.

File formats include all the types supported by Microsoft DirectX, namely:
AVI, MPEG-1 (VCD), MPEG-2 (SVCD, DVD), MPEG-4, MPA, WMV, WMA, ASF, MP3, QuickTime (version 2 and lower). Other file formats and compression types are supported with additional installation of corresponding codecs, such as DivX, XVid, VP6, MP4, AC3, H.264.

Unreal Media Server does not transcode or decode files when streaming; the files are streamed "as is"; the player is able to playback these files if appropriate codecs are installed on player's computer.

Playlist functionality allows automatically playing all the files of server's virtual folder in a loop mode. Files can be unicasted in "on-demand" mode or multicasted in "live" mode.

Supported live media sources include: USB/Firewire digital cameras, IP network cameras, microphones, TV-tuner cards, analog video sources (analog camera or TV) connected to Graphics card, Video Capture card or hardware encoder appliance that supports DirectShow interface. There can be multiple live sources on a single computer. Hardware-encoded content can be streamed "as is" without software transcoding.

Codecs used for live video compression: VC1 (WMV9), H.264 and Microsoft MPEG-4 V2. Codecs used for live audio compression: Fraunhofer MPEG Layer-3 (MP3), GSM 6.10 and WMA.

Two streaming delivery modes are supported: Near-Real-Time and Buffered. Conferencing applications requiring low latency can take advantage of 0.2 - 2 seconds latency provided by Near-Real-Time mode, where buffer sizes are minimal and aggressive leaking-flushing bucket algorithms are enforced. When low latency is not required, Buffered mode can be used, allowing servers to buffer media in order to compensate on network jitter and congestions.

Live content can be recorded based on scheduler or motion detection, independently of streaming.

Unreal Media Server supports variety of streaming protocols allowing playing with Flash player, Silverlight, Windows Media Player and Unreal Streaming Media Player on Windows, MAC, Linux and Mobile devices.

python-gpsbabel 1.0....

python-gpsbabel is a simple wrapper around the GPS Babel executable. Works on Windows, Linux, and Mac. This wrapper is believed to be pretty much feature complete and bug-free, though the version number is kept low since others might have more features to add.

python-gpsbabel can do the following:

  • Create arbitrary chains, including changing character sets, applying filters, and readin and writing files in any format supported by GPSBabel.
  • It can capture the output of any GPSBabel command.
  • If that output is in the GPX format, it can convert it to something usable by a calling program.
  • It can take the same sort of objects it creates, and send them as input to GPSBabel.
  • It is easily capable of support additional versions of GPSBabel when they come out.
  • It can read from and write to supported GPS units.

Cobalt Box 0.17...

The platform allows developers to develop small applications (widgets) and import them into the Cobalt Box platform. Users can then decide whether they want to view these widgets as part of the webpage, move them or close them (depending on specific widget functionality).

The widgets themselves aim to create additional value for the user browsing experience by altering what up to now was considered read-only content. All widgets are added to the page inside clearly-marked cobalt boxes in order to differentiate themselves from normal page content. The Firefox plugin is shipped bundled together with the first Cobalt Box widget: Parallel Links. Parallel Links is aimed to serve as a proof of concept and an example of Cobalt Box's potential. It analyses the current webpage and automatically draws links from popular websites (incl. Twitter, Wikipedia, Amazon, and others) that are directly relevant to the current webpage.

svninfo 0.7.4...

svninfo project can be used to extract the revision and file information provided by the Subversion revision control system.

To present the version information of a document, one needs to extract it from some kind of text inserted by the revision control system. JDebugTool 4.4.5...

JDebugTool software is a standalone graphical Java debugger built on top of the standard JPDA (Java Platform Debugger Architecture).

Features of JDebugTool

· Built on top of the standard JPDA (Java Debugger Platform Architecture). JDebugTool should work with any JPDA compliant JVM. JDK 1.5, J2SDK 1.4, and JDK 1.3 are supported.
· Debug Java Applications, Applets, Servlets and EJBs.
· JDebugTool is totally written in Java itself.
· The Java Swing GUI is logically divided into resizable panels and popup dialogs. Data is color coded, and displayed in trees and tables (tables can be sorted and table columns can be hidden or shown). There are tool tips, right-click popup context menus and keyboard accelerators throughout the GUI.
· JDebugTool has an integrated Help Viewer. Context sensitive help is available throughout the GUI.
· Change the Look and Feel of the GUI and also change globally the font size of the GUI.
· Debugger settings are saved according to projects. There is always a default project, if you do not want to create any projects.
· Each source file is displayed (syntax color coded) in its own tabbed pane. The left margin annotates the line numbers, breakpoints and the current Execution Point.
· Launch a User definable External Text Editor in which to edit the currently displayed Java source file.
· Find a particular string or go to a particular line number in a Source File.
· List (and quickly navigate to) the methods of the main class in the currently displayed Source File.
· Traverse your source code tree(s) and display selected source files.
· Displays the hierarchy of classes (and inner classes) that have been loaded into the target JVM. The total number of classes currently loaded is displayed. For each package, the number of loaded classes is also displayed. For each class the attributes, methods and fields are displayed. The corresponding source code can be displayed for each class and its methods.
