LaTeX Word Counter is developped in Java, so you will need Java Runtime Environment to run it. The zip files in the download section contains the jar file and the executable scripts for both Linux and Windows. The table of contents and other tables, page numbers, page headers are not counted, this is due to the fact that lwc counts from source file.
