The manufacturer HTC has unveiled its new smartphone called One E8, a low cost version of the One M8. Aside from its plastic cover and no double image Ultrapixel sensor, most of the features of the One M8 has been preserved.
HTC has introduced the economical version of One M8 for the Chinese market. Called One E8, it incorporates many of the features of M8 smartphone. Thus we find the 5-inch screen displaying a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a density of 441 ppi. Similarly, the quad-core processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 is clocked at 2.3 GHz with 2 GB of RAM.
However, at the photo side, instead of the double-sensor Ultrapixel like in M8, there is a 13 megapixel sensor in One E8. It is especially in the case that the difference is marked. It is simply not made of plastic but brushed aluminum. It comes in several colors with blue, red, black and white. With its plastic cover, the phone is lighter and certainly less expensive, sold at 2,799 yuan only (about 328 euros).
