The manufacturer Lava International has announced its new mid-range phone called Iris X1.
The latest smartphone from the Indian producer Lava comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box at a deemed price for different sites to compensate for the hardware that were generally disappointing.
The Lava Iris X1 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a Broadcom chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. Lava Iris X1 also features 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel front camera and 4 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options for the Lava Iris X1 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3G support. The dual-SIM smartphone measures 134 x 66 x 8.9 mm and weighs 138 grams. Finally, there is a 1,800 mAh battery that provides power to the device.
Lava Iris X1 will be available in white and black color options at a price of INR 7,999 (about $136, €100 approx) and will be available exclusively on Amazon India from May 27.
