At CES 2014, Lenovo had formalized the Vibe Z, a smartphone with a full HD screen of 5.5 inches. The future of the smartphone now takes a new name called Vibe Z2 Pro which is a 6-inch qHD screen and components truly premium that should make a very interesting smartphone.
Some Chinese media were invited to discover the new Lenovo. Among them, we find the Z2 Vibe Pro, a resolutely turned towards the high-end smartphone. Its screen with a diagonal of 6 inches qHD panel incorporates a definition of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a resolution of 490 PPI. It comes with Snapdragon 801 platform with its quad-core Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.45 GHz and its Adreno 330 graphics chip will be put to the test to see such a definition in games.
The cover of the smartphone is made of aluminum and can be found at the top OIS sensor (optical image stabilization) of 16 megapixels . Behind this case lies a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh amazing for a total thickness of only 7.7 mm. A phone which is expected to benefit from a good battery life. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro also supports NFC and dual-SIM. Unfortunately, the smartphone has not yet been officially released and therefore we have no release date or price. We expect to discover all the details of this smartphone, starting with the version of Android that ships, or weight.
The second half of 2014 should see the arrival of many smartphones equipped with a QHD screen, like the LG G3 which will be officially unveiled recently. With the current SoC power, we can ask questions about performance in the game because the graphics chip must calculate 1.78 times more pixels on the screen. In addition, some suggest the impossibility of distinguishing a qHD screen with a Full HD screen with the naked eye. All these questions will be answered during the test of LG G3.
