LG is preparing to expand its range visibly in the Optimus F series. With the new Optimus F3Q, LG could again combine a cheap, 4G mobile phone with a sliding keyboard.

Last year, LG launched its range of F series smartphone and thus offered a relatively inexpensive access to 4G with full deployment. It now consists of Optimus F3, F5, F6 and F7 spread over different markets. A new model is about to join visibly under reference, called Optimus F3Q. @evleaks leaks some of its technical characteristics, in addition to providing its leaked image as well.

If it is a variant of the Optimus F3, the similarities with the latter are not really obvious. Not only this new model takes a different design, but also a different format because it marks the return of sliding keyboard in the catalog of the Korean manufacturer. Finally, the similarities will be sought in the characteristics of the device, identical to the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version.

As for the technical side, there would be a WVGA screen (800 x 480 pixels) and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor of unknown provenance. It will probably incorporate Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, including 4G compatibility. A 5 megapixel camera and a battery of 2460 mAh is likely to complete the data sheet for the Optimus F3 smartphone. The price should be fixed accordingly and suitable for smaller grants.

Unfortunately, the LG Optimus F3Q is intended for usage in U.S. with T-Mobile operator for the time being.
