The first Lumia smartphone that does not carry the Nokia brand news was unveiled recently by Microsoft and called as the Lumia 535. Microsoft has put an end to the rumors and has formalized the first Lumia post-era Nokia recently in China.
New sub entry-level model with Windows Phone 8.1 Denim (the latest version presented in September in Berlin), is going to be carried by Microsoft's Lumia 535 as well.
Inside, there is a gentle evolution of the Lumia 530. The quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor is supported by 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is 8GB, it will be possible to extend virtually through OneDrive with 15 GB available on the Microsoft cloud. You can also expand the phone with Micro SD slot which accepts cards up to 128GB.
Also in the application level, the Lumia 535 offers Microsoft Office, and soon will host the voice assistant Cortana, which we still do not know the date of arrival.
At the side of novelties, it has a capacitive IPS screen with 5-inch display. It offers a qHD resolution of 960 × 540 pixels with a 16/9 ratio, a fineness of 220 ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. If the screen is not HD, it generally remains very interesting for its tariff level, at least on paper.
The rear camera goes up to 5 Megapixels and has a flash. At the front, the selfies special device also offers 5 Megapixels, but this time, with a wide angle lens.
Note that the Lumia 535 is available in two versions: single and dual sim. Unfortunately, both model remain limited to 3G. But do not forget that this is the Lumia entry level model.
With the proposed battery, it provides a proper reserve 1905 mAh, it is announced with 13 hours of 3G talk time communication and is removable.
If the Nokia Lumia era have always put the focus on the colors of bright shells, Microsoft did not intend to change anything, and the Lumia 535 is offered in a choice of green, orange white, dark gray, cyan or black.
To add a personal opinion about the new Lumia, it is interesting to note that Microsoft continues to offer friendly smartphones, they like a lot and which are not cheap, as is often the case in their equivalent in Android. Here, the OS is the same as on the most high-end devices, and offers virtually the same software options.
The marketing of the Lumia 535 in single or double sim is scheduled for November in many countries at an approximate price of €109, which for the moment seems to be the same for both versions.
