Panasonic officially launched P81 in India, a smartphone with an Octacore embedded processor from MediaTek.
The device has a screen of 5.5-inch HD IPS display with eight cores clocked at 1.7 Ghz, Mali 450 GPU running on android 4.2 jelly bean. Too bad Panasonic still offers us this version of android rather than the future update of android 4.4.3 Kitkat.
For other features, the Panasonic P81 has a 1GB RAM, a storage space of 8 GB expandable up to 32 GB, a rear camera of 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, a 2 megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 3G connectivity and a battery of 2500 mAh.
The manufacturer includes a few extra features in its new smartphones namely gesture play, playing double window or Pop iPlayer.
With only 7.9 mm thick, the back cover of the device is made up of leather.
In India, it is sold at Rs. 9900 approximately.
