Samsung has officially announced the mini version of its high-end smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S5 therefore has its new little brother, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. As we expected, this new smartphone will be available for sale in July 2014 with a lot of colors. Samsung has not yet indicated the exact date per country.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini features a front screen of 4.5 inches with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with a kind of Super AMOLED technology. Inside, the smartphone hides a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and everything runs on Google Android KitKat 4.4 course system. The overlay from Samsung is ofcourse present to provide a dose of news sought by users. However, not much seems to change with respect to the classical Galaxy S5. For RAM, the manufacturer offers this mobile with 1.5 GB, enough to propel the smartphone honestly in multitasking and multimedia.
At the rear, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has digital camera of 8 megapixels with autofocus and LED flash. There is obviously a backlit sensor. At front, the smartphone features a camera sensor of 2.1 megapixels. A number of features are present as Shot and More, Virtual Tour Shot or M Studio for editing images. It is important to notify that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is capable of recording video in full HD resolution at 30 frames per second.
Good news is that, like the Samsung Galaxy S5, this mini version meets IP67. Also, the S5 mini can resist water and dust, within reason. The Ultra Power Saving mode is also on hand to save most of the energy when it is needed. At the side of sensors and connectivity, once again the new Galaxy is very complete.
