The phablet ZTE Nubia X6 has been formalized during an event in Beijing, China. Small tour on the features and price discovery is given.
The ZTE Nubia X6 will be in the giant phablet category, joining the Sony Xperia Z Ultra unveiled last year which also has a diagonal of 6.4 inches. With a Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) here, it does not has qHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) as some rumors are supposed to be. However, it will provide a thickness of just 7.9 millimeters for its metal cover, which suggests a good grip of the camera.
Under the hood is the platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a Krait 400 quad-core 2.3 GHz processor, which is coupled to a 3 GB RAM, a version with 2.5 GHz CPU is provided later. In terms of features, we talk about surfing in 4G/LTE or Wi-Fi, the ability to use two SIM cards, camera of 13 megapixel/1080p at front and back for taking selfies or video-conference with the same image quality and connectivity of Bluetooth 4.0/NFC/USB 3.0 for connecting peripherals or exchanging data locally. As for power, it passes through a battery of 4250 mAh.
Three versions of 32, 64 and 128 GB have been reported with prices 3000, 3500 and 4000 yuan, the equivalent of 350, 409 and 467 euros.
