CuteClips 3.0.13...

CuteClips 3 is the brand new release of Briksoftware's great clipboard history. Focusing on simplicity, CuteClips 3 is the perfect history for everybody's clipboard. CuteClips 3 sits in the background and records changes to the clipboard. It keeps the last 12 clips, providing a big preview for all copied items. CuteClips 3 is a complete rewrite, which we used to focus on what’s most important: simplicity.

The simple but highly efficient user interface allows the user to quickly find the clip that he/she is looking for. This is achieved providing a textual list of all clips for a perfect overview in addition to a huge preview for a detailed view of a clip. CuteClips records all changes to the clipboard and keeps all the data so that you can paste it again. It depends on the clips you copied how much RAM CuteClips 3 uses. E.g. if you copy pictures from iPhoto, a huge amount of data put on the clipboard.

To activate CuteClips 3 the user can either use the the menu item or the HotKey, which defaults to Command/Shift-V, the shortcut for pasting but with a pressed shift key. CuteClips can either be controlled by mouse, but also via keyboard, which makes it useful also for seasoned users who prefer speed and efficient usability. Many more features.

Dejal Time Out 1.5.4...

It is very easy to fall into bad habits when using a computer for hours on end. You care about what you are doing, so can sometimes push yourself too far, or over-strain yourself. The human body isn't built to sit in one position for endless hours, gripping a mouse or typing on the keyboard. Dejal Time Out is here to help. It will gently remind you to take a break on a regular basis.

Time Out has two kinds of breaks: a "Normal" break, typically for 10 minutes after 50 minutes of work, so you can move about and relax, plus a "Micro" break: a very brief pause of typically 10 seconds every 10 minutes, so you can remember not to tense up too much for long periods. You can disable either kind of break if desired, and the breaks are automatically paused when you go away from your computer, and can be reset when you come back.

You can configure how long each kind of break lasts, and how long between breaks. Each Time Out is announced via the screen slowly dimming, with related graphics materializing, and when the break is complete, it fades out again. You can change the time these transitions take... and you can even change the color and the level of transparency during the break. So if you like, you can make it mostly transparent so you can continue reading while on your break... though it's better for you if you give your eyes a rest during the Time Out.

Improvements of the version:

  • Replaced the use of an undocumented routine to check the idle time with an approved one, to fix compatibility with Snow Leopard.
  • Updated the bundled Adium scripts to support the current versions of the Adium instant messaging client, thanks to Nic Munroe. Note: if you used a previous version of Time Out, the scripts won’t be replaced, in case you’ve customized them. You can download the updated scripts from the Time Out Extras site.
  • Many more enhancements.

SwitchXS 2.5.1...

SwitchXS 2.5.1 details

Provides virtually complete access to Mac OS X and all standard Mac applications for people who can only use one or more switches. It offers full mouse and keyboard emulation by means of a so-called scanning mode. With each click on the switch the user selects an action, such as “move the cursor up” or “type B”, from a “scanning” menu. SwitchXS is typically used by people who are, for example, quadriplegic due to an accident, or living with neuromotor diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) with very limited limb movement.

SwitchXS provides a number of predefined scanning panels that the user can choose to move the cursor, click, and type into all standard Mac applications. It also allows the user advanced control over features such as audio-cueing, speech-cueing, key repeat, scanning speed and cycling, mouse speed and movement, and SmartTransparency, which makes the scanning panel partially or fully transparent when no scan is taking place to enjoy optimum use of screen real-estate. SwitchXS works with any HID compliant USB gamepad, joystick, keyboard, mouse or trackball. SwitchXS also works with USB switch interfaces emulating any of the above devices.

SwitchXS includes LayoutKitchen, an editor that allows users to make their own scan panels.

What’s New in this Version
- Made fully compatible with Snow Leopard
- Fixed launch after login option that was broken by Snow Leopard

System Requirements

  • Mac OS X 10.4 or later
