Prototype 2 Walkthrough

Released on 24th April Prototype 2 proves to me better than its predecessor. Mutated characters, filled with flesh sucking abilities makes the new character Sergeant James Heller more deadly than Alex Mercer. If you had played already Prototype you can learn difference by watching some intro videos posted on the official website. Based on a revenge story of Sergeant James Heller the story rotates around both central characters. Alex Mercer is introduced in later stage. The gameplay is quiet similar to older one but with better upgrades and deadlier attack. Prototype has gained a nice popularity in violent game series which is loved by many. I found the gameplay awesome as it depicts a killer which waits for none. Later upgrades offer you enhanced power in comparison to Alex Mercer. Graphic comparison on console is much better than PC if released. Transformed to ultimate shape-lifting weapon Sgt James Heller is left to avenge his wife and child death. There are number of changes in the game. Fictional at New York Zero the game begins with infected wasteland. With new biological weapons and abilities players can come with combo of most devastating attack. Being violent game children of some ages might avoid this. The gameplay follows similar way of hunting, killing and consuming the creatures. The game intro trailers shows up Alex Mercer as the prime victim of Sergeant James Heller. But what unfolds can be known at the end of game chapters. This might be a bit disappointment for someone who had enjoyed Alex Mercer character as mutant killer.

It is worth here to discuss on the new game map. This time Radical Entertainment added larger space with lots of mini games in between to gain better EP. In the old version the map was divided into the Read infected zone and normal one. This time there is a Green zone which is heavily militarized. Yellow Zone is the quarantine part of NYZ where infected are blocked and kept. The last one Red Zone is the same what you see in older version. This is the part which is entirely consumed by the Virus and there are no chances of healing. Prototype 2 features a new add-on called as RADNET. This offer you a number of unlock and upgrades for this game. Unlike Prototype the new version also features a number of skills that you can shop. You have to earn as much EP as you can to gain better upgrades. The upgrade box is simple changed to smaller and to the point.
