Seagate Wireless Plus 2TB External Hard Drive offer you a remote access along with wifi connection. Through wifi you can directly stream the hard drive content on your phone and tablet. But through remote access you don't have to connect to the drive wifi. You can stream the content directly on your lan network and you can also copy files in it. For that you have to connect Seagate Wireless Plus 2TB External Hard Drive to internet first. Detailed process is below. The process is for android phone which is also similar on other platform.
Tap on Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap on Seagate Wireless 2XM.
Launch Seagate Media App.
From the main screen tap on Connect Seagate Wireless 2XM to the Internet.
Select the Wifi Network for Internet Connection.
Tap on Connect to this Network Automatically and Secure this network. Type the wifi password and tap on connect. Once done you have to go in the lan network and there you can find the drive.
