How to restore factory settings in WD My Passport Wireless 1TB through mobile

WD My Passport Wireless comes with wifi access where it gives you a easy to use web access panel for making changes in various settings. This is very much similar to a router web access panel where you have all settings to modify things. Like you can go in the admin part and you can simply make changes in the wifi name and also you can customize the IP address. You can later on go in the Firmware section and update the driver firmware. here I am going to show you the process through which you can simply restore the original factory settings of WD My Passport Wireless through a mobile phone or tablet. It is extremely easy. I am going to use Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for the same.

Connect your Smartphone or tablet to My Passport from the Wifi section. Then launch your web browser from the device. I am using Google Chrome here. Type mypassport.local or 192.168.60.1 in the address bar.
