Way of the Samurai 3 Walkthrough And Cheats – Xbox 360

Introduction:

Alongside the action titles (Samurai Warriors) and infiltration, who
usually take part in feudal Japan, the series Way of the Samurai has
always opted to depict the way of the samurai as a perpetual
confrontation between the Man and his destiny. This third component
further increases this principle in us delivering an adventure that
could lead to two dozen different endings. Killing innocent people or
save their miserable lives, that’s good four or five GTA that stirs
great world and it is the creed of Acquire for three episodes of The
Way of the Samurai. Without such a series at a crossroads between
action and adventure, but not without ambitions since it promises an
epic on which all the choices facing the player. Well, we had already
done that.

Way of the Samurai 3 is primarily a game to open scenario, where each
of your actions and your decisions are likely to tip the history of
your character to an end more or less favorable. In the skin of a
ronin, a samurai without a master that you create at the beginning of
the game, you will enter the territory of Amana in the Sengoku era, in
the year 1560. Contact with residents of this small province, you will
discover what the three factions are in place and try to understand
what divides them. Up to you, then you join one or other of these
camps, or even go it alone in influencing from outside the current
scenario. This is the starting point for this third installment in the
series The Way of the Samurai that we discovered in late 2002 on PS2.
If the concept of an adventure for many has always characterized the
series since its inception, we feel that developers were given more
resources to realize their project with this episode for the HD
consoles. With an achievement most successful and lasting life boosted
by the presence of 21 different endings, soft also benefits from a neat
location that should enable the public to discover the French title in
the best conditions. Although containing some mistakes here and there
the text is fully translated into our language and it is possible to
enable the Japanese voices to enhance immersion.

GamePlay:

Year 1560. The war ravaged the world of Amana. In this feudal Japan and
fantasized, three opposing factions: the peasants of the village
Takatani, troops tyrannical Shuzen Fujimori and Oka clan of bandits who
dream of overthrowing the government in power. The story takes place in
Amana, a fictional land ruled by a rising feudal lord, Fujimori Shuzen,
who had overthown his former superior, Lord Sakurai, and became the new
ruler. The Fujimori clan is an emerging force in Amana and has many
enemies within its territory. In order to protect their domain, they
force farmers and villagers to overwork and impose heavy taxes on them
to strengthen their armed force. And due to all this, people in Amana
are beginning to feel discontent towards the Fujimori clan.

Finally, amid all this, there is the player. A wandering samurai able
to influence the course of events by their choices and actions. Very
quickly, become a hero is invited to choose his path by joining one of
the factions. And why not, thereafter, to betray his former allies,
take control of an army, her kimono back several times just to make his
or minor pilgrimage alone, without God or master – but it’s boring. Via
cinematics, a system of multiple-choice dialogues as found in Mass
Effect and a card that appear very different possibilities evasive
scriptwriting, the player tries to find its place among the clan war.
And as long as one does not simply eliminate all the NPCs in the
country, the consequences of our choices reveal a few surprises in a
well-known recipe, but still immersive. For the curious, at least.

There are three main factions in Amana: Fujimori clan, Ouka clan, and
Takatane villagers. The Ouka clan consists of vassals of the Sakurai
clan and outcasts who desire power. They desire to overthrow the
Fujimori clan and return rule to Amana. The Takatane villagers are
harmonious people only wishing for peace. Each faction is inexplicably
intertwined and the story now unfolds.

Characters:

The main charcters of the game are devided into three factions, that
are Fujimori clan, Ouka clan, and Takatane villagers. And are as
follows:

Fujimori Clan:

  • Shuzen:
The rising Lord who overthrew the Sakurai clan. He is strengthening his
power by forcing hard labor and collecting high taxes from the
    villagers.
  • Araragihime: Fujimori
Shuzen’s mistress who holds the noble bloodline. She is a fearless
woman who lives as she desires. Any worthless men will easily have
their souls taken from this witch-like woman.
  • Shinnosuke: A Vassel of
Shuzen Fujimori. The eldest son of Munechika Umemiya of Takatane
Village and a former loyal member of the Sakurai clan. A skilled
swordman who was once called the "Three swords of the Sakurai Clan".

Ouka Clan:

  • Itsuse:
A female samurai of the Ouka Clan. After losing her family that were
Killed by Fujimori Shuzen, she lives only to kill him and get her
    revenge.
  • Genjuro: The leader of
the Ouka clan. He was once a low rank samurai of the sakurai clan who
persuaded fallen samurai and bandits to create the Ouka clan and
rebuild Sakurai clan. However, he is known to use violence to obtain
    power.
  • Yuma: Youngest son of the
Umemiya family who proudly served the Sakurai clan. He strongly
believes that the Sakurai clan can be rebuilt through the Ouka clan. He
detests his father for being a coward, and his brother for being a
    traitor.

Takatane Villagers:

  • Kota:
A boy who lives with his older sister, Osei in the Takatane Village.
Although he admires samurai he acts as if he hates them in front of his
    sister.
  • Munechika: The former
chief vassal of the Sakurai clan, who is now the mayour of Takatane
village. He is the target of threats and abuse from the Fujimori clan
because he wants to protect villagers from Fujimori Shuzen’s operation.
  • Osei: A young girl who
lives in the Takatane village with her little brother, Kota. She
detests samurai because she lost her parents in a great battle against
    Shujen.

Walkthrough:

very good "replay value", the real interest of the game is well and

during the dialogues that have a direct impact on the scenario, but
also your behavior during the game. The consequences of your actions
will determine your fate. Choose to fight alongside good or evil during
the tumultuous time of the Sengoku era and carve your name into
history. Become a hero or become infamous, the choice is yours. Take
the role of a samurai and choose your own path, blazing a trail of
honour, loyalty and respect or one of villainy, corruption and greed.
The canonical series, best known for its high level of freedom and play
style is back, with improved features, graphics and new gameplay
mechanics sure to please fans of this enduring series.

You are a samurai in the land of Amana where three forces intervene.
You are free to follow whatever actions you desire. You can choose to
be allied with one of the factions or treat them all as enemies.Events
occur depending on the course of action you take, and there are various
endings depending on your actions.

Three Forces:
There are three forces in Amana: the Fujimori Clan, Ouka Clan, and
Takatane Villagers. If you repeatedly treat them as your enemy, their
fondness of you will decrease, you may not be able to purchase from
their shops and they may attempt to kill you. By completing jobs for
each group, your reputation increases.

Time:
The time progresses as the day advances; morning, noon, evening, night,
midnight, and dawn. NPC’s follow the time as well. Certain events only
occur at a certain time of the day.

Actions System (Draw Weapon and Apologize):
During an event scene, icons for Draw Weapon and/or Apologize may
appear. While these icons are present on the screen, you can draw your
weapon or apologize to interrupt the event.

Villain Act:
If you attack (or kill) commoners who are unarmed, you will be penalized as a villain. Your Samurai Points earned at the end of
the game will be deducted depending on the number of villainous acts
you committed. Once you have killed an NPC, they won’t return. However,
if you Blunt Attack and defeat an NPC, they will return.

Free Scene and Event Scene:
In free scene, you can freely walk around and talk to people. In event
scenes, the event movie progresses automatically, but at certain points
you may be prompted to make a decision.

Creating a Weapon:
Objects that are categorized as Parts are pieces you need in order to
create a weapon. There are over 200 different parts, making it
possible to create over 10,000 variations of weapons. There are 4
different types of Parts that compose a weapon; Blade, Guard, Grip, and
Pommel. With the combination of these Parts, a weapon is created. For
each Part, there are a set number of Attacks, Defense, Durability,
Quality, and Weight. The total of these numbers determines the
parameter of the weapon you create. Also, you can implement Stances and
Skills you have learned into your weapons. A weapon can be created at a
blacksmith.

Ending Game and Samurai Rating:
A game ends in the following 3 ways: 1. Clear the game (see ending). 2.
Game Over (HP reaches 0 and you die). 3. Leave Amana (leave from the
Amana Map).

When you clear a game or leave Amana, the Samurai Rating will be
displayed. You will earn a Samurai Rank percentage, Samurai Points and
a Title depending on the course of actions you took during the game.
You can also check the details of the actions you took during that
game. Make sure you save after each game so that the Samurai Points,
Records, Weapons, Items, Parts, Money, and Title will be carried over
to the next game. As your total Samurai Points increase, various
elements of the game will be unlocked.

Your attitude depends on how the other characters in the game will
perceive you, then you make sure not to alienate those you want to join
later. Although helpless at first, you quickly put their hands on
knives that will make you an individual potentially dangerous for all
the NPC in the game because, in Way of the Samurai 3, it is possible to
draw his sword at any time cleave any protagonist of the story, whether
a character key or secondary. His death will of course not without
consequence, and you’ll quickly learn to respect the code of bushido if
you do not want to be sanctioned by the atrocities you commit. Nothing
will prevent, for example, players extremists to eliminate all the NPC
in the game, and too bad if he left no biwa player alive to save their
party!

To live as a samurai, you are unable to avoid battles. Let’s learn the
basics of battle to prepare you for them. You will enter battle if you
attack someone with a weapon, or meet someone who considers you as an
enemy. There are also instances where you will enter a battle during an
event, right after making a decision on a response to a NPC. You are
able to attack and defeat all NPC’s in game (excluding children and
animals). In order to switch weapons and use items right away, you will
need to use the Quick Slot. You can carry 2 more weapons along with
your equipped weapon, which totals up to 3 weapons. Pressing down on
the directional pad will easily switch your weapon in the order you are
carrying them. This is useful when your weapon breaks and need to
change to another one quickly. The items set to the Quick Slot can be
used by pressing left, up, and right on the directional pad.

As it is well to romp between two cutscenes, many of which result in a
sword fighting, art in which the hero excels, even if the fights are
generally limited to the button mashing. In the heat of battle, the
real subtlety is not to kill anyone, because every NPC shot disappears
from history, taking with him the twists he was under. Killing the big
boss of a clan and take his place at the beginning is also one of the
options, expeditious course, but possible. Conversely, it is possible
to complete some scenarios by delivering very little fighting. The
difficulty varies from one scenario to another, as the duration of the
game and it is quite possible to finish some adventures in under three
hours, before restarting. However, we are playing the defender of the
oppressed, loyal soldier or bloody seven Ronin, the game still has a
routine that varies little. Winning the confidence of a clan usually
comes to accept the missions proposed by influential members
(mini-games, assassinations, objects or characters to find …).
Similarly, men from opposing factions are hostile or frightened at the
moment when you join the ranks of the enemy, while forgiving the worst
betrayals to any services rendered. Therefore, if the frame has more
than twenty different purposes (and even "sub-ends"), you must admit
that the gameplay revolves around.

But confrontation is inevitable and sometimes when you have a last
chance to avoid committing murder using the back of your blade. Armed
with a sword inverted, your attacks will not be sharp but blunt, and
damage to your enemies will not be fatal. A very welcome idea which
affects directly the evolution of the story you write at the mercy of
events that you trigger by visiting a particular place of Amana.
Depending on the day or even hour of the day, the meetings that you
will not be the same, but you can accelerate the time at your
convenience from your home village Takatani. For, unlike the previous
strands, the story is more limited in time, and you can then proceed at
your own pace without fear of seeing the game ended prematurely. There
are also many things to make room for the main adventure, like going to
visit the blacksmith to sharpen your weapons or agree to complete the
various tasks that the three factions will agree to tell you.

Because the game system is quite confusing at first, only by repeating
several times the adventure that we learn to discover the
possibilities. Whatever the outcome you get, even if game over, all
items obtained during your previous parts are stored in your backup
file, so you can reuse in your next game. A good way to experiment with
all sorts of things, for example, trying to convince an NPC to do a
little way with you. The game contains well over a dozen companions
could lend you a hand temporarily, each having its own way to help. But
do not count but not too over them for you out in the clashes. The
battle, long and sometimes unavoidable, will be the ideal opportunity
to change the level of your weapons and unlock new fighting techniques.
Note that your fighting style is directly related to the weapon you
wield, and that it may break if you did not spare his strength.
Although richer than before, the combat system is still struggling to
convince and suffers from very serious problems of camera placement.
Too bad the only really interesting one, which is the cons-deadly
attack called "the shadow of death," occurs only if ward off a blow
with a timing of watchmaking, which Not easy to achieve. If successful,
you can kill at a glance all the opponents that lie ahead if you are
able to support at the right time on the button that appears on the
screen. Carnage Guaranteed!

More than the lack of nuance is especially the delay of game technical
surprises. The series has never really had the means of its ambitions
and, again, one wonders where Acquire drew his motivation to carry out
a project that probably deserved a lot more investment. Released in
late 2008 in Japan, Way of the Samurai might even leave early in the HD
era without impressing anyone. The feudal atmosphere is there, served
by very good musical choices, but all done very PS2. Amana’s world is
tiny, consisting of just eight sets quickly explored. The digitized
voice is reserved for cinematic and at other times, characters speak
through speech bubbles in comic book. As for the famous alternative
endings, they actually enter text scrolling on the poor. Larger, more
polished, more varied, Way of the Samurai 3 would have been a pleasant
surprise, but it remains the third in a series devoted, apparently
there to stay in the shade.

If the whole adventure takes precedence over the action, it is
regrettable that the gameplay has still not been optimized for the
phases of combat. And even if it is possible to pick up any weapon on
the ground to appropriate it, you’ll be able to carry only three with
you, the other to be stored in the village of Takatani. This is where
you can customize the look of your samurai with props achieved over
your games. Accessories that still largely betrayed the will of the
game designers did not take itself too seriously, as evidenced by the
few mini-games and crazy outfits available at the stage of creating
your character. By eliminating the NPC with the back of your sword, you
can even adopt their appearance and fighting style. Full of good ideas,
unique in its approach and its development, Way of the Samurai 3 is
nevertheless very imperfect in its execution and in its gameplay.
Fingers crossed for the next attempt is really good!

In addition to the various systems that made the previous titles so
popular, Way of the Samurai 3 offers several new systems, including a
"Sudden Battle System" that allows players to draw swords, even during
in-game events, an "Original Blade Creation System" that allows players
to combine parts to create an original sword, and a "Companion System"
that allows players to select the woman of their choice to live with.

Features:

  • The butterfly effect – with over 15 different endings, every action you take has consequences, allowing for multiple outcomes and replayability.
  • Weapon customisation
craft your own unique weapons from over 200 different parts and
materials, creating the ultimate weapon that suits your taste and
    fighting style.

  • Reward system and samurai rating
    – performing different feats will reward a player with Samurai Points
and a title, which in turn will unlock new features and and characters
    within the game.

  • The pen can be mightier than the sword-fight your opposition with force or take the diplomatic route, using subtle gestures like the unsheathing of your sword.
