Electronic Arts announced that the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, developed by Criterion Games, will get a downloadable demo on Tuesday. However, it was confirmed with the EA PR representatives that the demo will not be coming to the PC platform. This represents a rarity in most 20-year history of the Need for Speed franchise that most releases of the game saw the PC platform for a demo version. The only recent game speed need that has not been a demo for Need for Speed Undercover, which has not had a press demonstration for one of its versions.
