Bethesda Softworks announced that Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be released in Europe on October 16. This version of the game will feature the original product and all expansions released so far, namely Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will retail for $59.99 and the Games for Windows version will be available for $49.99.
The manufacturer has also planned the release of individual expansions also on PlayStation Network. Versions of the PS3 DLC in fact are far behind the PC and Xbox 360 counterparts. The first DLC for the PlayStation 3 Broken Steel will be available from September 24 while Operation Anchorage and The Pitt attained on the first Zeta Mothership October and 8 October.
Furthermore in reference PS3 edition of Fallout 3 now it is available with a software update that adds support for Trophies in DLC, fixes some bugs and adds enhancements to the graphics. Individual DLC costs 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network and on 10 euros for PC.
