Support for Yahoo! Messenger for versions from 6.0 to 7.5 ends September 30, 2009. Users are encouraged to migrate, so that version 10 is tested on Windows.
Team Yahoo! support the development of Yahoo! Messenger has recently announced that the move to end support for versions 6.0 through 7.5 of the instant messaging client compatible with Windows Live Messenger network. The cut off date was set for September 30, 2009.
