Foxconn to Produce Apple tablet in Q1 of 2010

The Apple tablet, which always remian in  talks, even among analysts who see the possible evolution of current ebook readers toward a more versatile gadget, continues to be the subject of rumors trying to refine its launch .

From Asia, new information seem to be out that the Foxconn Group, which already manufactures the iPhone and smartphones including the a  prototype next-generation model should also be responsible production of the famous tablet.


To be launched in first quarter 2010

According to unofficial information, the delivery is scheduled for first quarter of 2010 with an initial batch of 300 000 to 400 000 copies. They confirm the possibility of an announcement of the tablet for early next year, with immediate availability.

To 10.6" display of the unit, Foxconn could provide with its Innolux Display subsidiary . According to some rumors, the Apple tablet would focus on the aspect of reading ebooks and newspapers than the media itself, while promising a wide autonomy, Internet access and always a simplified interface to the ergonomics.

Where some manufacturers drown their product presentations under a pile of features, we can expect from the marketing side of Apple to put forward to reading books during the official presentation.

Note that other players could be versatile on the shelves segment . Hewlett-Packard (HP) and others have a similar product in minds for a launch expected in second quarter 2010.
