NVIDIA Announces GeForce GT 210

While rumors reported in last weekend’s withdrawal of the NVIDIA graphics card market premium, it has denied a rumor to the firm chameleon who announces two new graphics cards at entry level. These GeForce GT 210 and GT 220, which is a PCI-Express DirectX 10.1, a first for NVIDIA. The GeForce GT 220 is in performance between a GeForce 9500 GT and GeForce 9600 GT.



Fleas animating these new GeForce are engraved in 40nm by TSMC and the GeForce GT 220 takes 48 CUDA execution cores clocked at 1360 MHz. The card comes with 1 GB or 512 MB of GDDR3 video memory. NVIDIA also insisted on reduced power consumption of these new cards, and especially the GeForce GT 220, which consumes only 7 watts in standby.



Already on sale, at least for pre-order the cards benefit from a new video engine called PureVideo then they found the native support for HDMI 1.3a, as announced in GPU Tech. It takes on average 45 euros for the GeForce GT 210 and 55 euros TTC for model GeForce GT 220.
