The information is not quite a correct from Electronic Arts that has not confirmed anything, but Dead Space 2 is expected in 2010.
Despite the relative commercial failure of the first release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Dead Space is expected to follow. An extension on which the information are greater but the rumor and not the new item that might make us change our opinion.
Through a section devoted to video games "appalling", one journalist from Reuters actually decided to return to the series published by Electronic Arts. This juicy excerpt from a Reuters article was spotted by VG247: "Electronic Arts has a pair of horror offerings for gamers. The publisher recently shipped Dead Space: Extraction for Wii, which is a prequel to last fall’s Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC hit. Dead Space 2 is in development for next year."
Even if the game doesn’t arrive by the end of 2010 as Reuters claims, it’s probably in development by now.
