Management award by delivering extraordinary customer value

DemandTec,
Inc. a leading provider of on-demand optimization
solutions for retailers and consumer products manufacturers, today
announced that Kraft Foods has won the Consumer Goods Technology (CGT)
magazine Customer Management Award for 2009 as a result of customer
value delivered with DemandTec’s Deal Management software service. The CGT
Customer Management Award recognizes the consumer goods firm that is
best leveraging a technology solution to manage customer relationships,
trade promotion, marketing and/or consumer insights.

Kraft Foods was selected for the Customer Management Award based on
an ongoing collaborative working relationship with a large grocery
retailer.  Kraft Foods has seen business benefits through an online
trade promotion management program powered by DemandTec’s Deal
Management software service on the DemandTec TradePoint Network™.

"Kraft Foods is delighted to receive the Customer Management Award
from CGT for 2009," said Chuck Eckman, Customer Vice President Safeway
Team at Kraft Foods.  Kraft Foods views this award as a confirmation of
our commitment to simplify our approach and the importance we place on
reacting faster to market place changes.  At the same time, we’re
leveraging synergies in collaborating closely with our retail customers
to help them achieve their category performance and customer loyalty
objectives."

"By leveraging the DemandTec TradePoint Network™, Kraft Foods has
gained efficiencies in the promotion deal management process,
increasing the visibility of and access to critical information. Kraft
Foods is also leveraging the strategic capabilities of DemandTec’s
Trade Planning & Optimization software service to enhance promotion
effectiveness and foster improved collaboration with their retail
customers," said Marc Dietz, Vice President Marketing at DemandTec.

Winners of the Customer Management Award are determined by members
of peer companies like Heinz, Procter & Gamble, Alberto-Culver,
Energizer, Sara Lee and Johnson & Johnson. The award was presented
to Kraft Foods at a ceremony at the annual Consumer Goods Business
& Technology Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. on October 21.
In addition, Kraft Foods will be featured in the December 2009 issue of
