TomTom gives update on iPhone

TomTom has updated its iPhone application to version 1.2. The new version of
TomTom’s navigation system for the iPhone offers features from
previous versions but now offers support more lanes.

For a minor update,
there are quite a few changes to note in the new TomTom version. There is now
support for lanes, that way you can figure out what lane you should drive,
because it is displayed on the screen. In addition, the speed camera database
upgraded to a newer version, which contains more information and maps are also
updated.

In addition, TomTom has chosen to use two standard features
that the iPhone actually already offer. The first is called Text-to-speech, so
that text can be spoken and the user through voice control TomTom can tell where it should be navigat. The other support for iPod controls in the
navigation. So you can continue listening to your music in the car under the
tree.

The new version of TomTom is now downloadable via the App Store.
TomTom costs one hundred euros for the European version. The application is also for sale including kit . The
first version of TomTom’s application came earlier this year after it was
announced during the release of the iPhone 3GS. It is possible that there will be
more updates to the TomTom for the iPhone in coming days .
