Nikon on Snow Leopard

It
is through its U.S. arm that Nikon informs planning of compatibility
between Mac OS X 10.6, dubbed Snow Leopard, and photo applications:
Capture NX2, View NX, etc …

Snow
Leopard, the latest operating system from Apple to date, launched late
last August, requires numerous updates Nikon software whose
compatibility is not assured. The paper appeared on the Nikon USA
website informs us that the first software to see the update available
to work on Snow Leopard is Camera Control Pro 2 software shooting
computer-driven. The update will allow Nikon Capture NX2 to run
smoothly under Mac OS 10.6 will follow in December when he will still
wait until late January 2010 Update Nikon Transfer and View NX.
Software management settings Nikon Wireless Transmitter WT-4 (WT-4
Setup Utility / Thumbnail selector) and the plugin Nik Color Efex Pro 3
will both be adapted for Snow Leopard, but no release date for the
update n is still provided.

photographers, professional or amateur work under Apple universe and
have already made their update on Apple’s new opus … damage to us …


But we are still awaiting an announcement from Nikon Capture NX3 which
should no longer delay. Let the delay for firing with Nikon Apple on
behalf of the requisitioning of its developers for programming Nikon
Capture NX3 …
