Applian Technologies announced today that their most popular streaming media recorders and converter have been tested to meet all the technical requirements to be compatible with the Windows(R) 7 operating system. Replay Media Catcher, Replay Video Capture, Replay Music and Replay Converter are the first set of video and audio recording software to have passed the tests that enable them to display the "Compatible with Windows 7" logo.
WM Recorder, developed by Applian’s sister company, All Alex, Inc. has also been tested and is compatible with Windows 7.
Replay Media Catcher and WM Recorder can download Youtube videos and other sites that stream using the flash video format. Additionally, these streaming recorders can download Windows Media, Real, Quicktime and Shoutcast formats.
In order to display the "Compatible with Windows 7 " logo Applian’s software is tested for compatibility and reliability on Windows 7 and passed Microsoft designed tests to minimize the possibility of crashes, hangs, and reboots. Additionally, all this recording software meets privacy standards set forth by the Anti-Spyware Coalition.
