MSI plans to launch two new ultraportable, codenamed MSI MS-1243 and
MSI MS-1241. Both models look very similar in design and technical
features to popular MSI Wind U210 and U230.
The new ultraportable MSI are based on platform AMD Yukon Coupled to a processor Neo AMD Athlon X2 dual core
and a graphics subsystem. The capacity of the hard disk and memory will
vary depending on the configuration of notebooks. MSI will offer a
screen 11.6 inches and 12.1-inch with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
The ultraportable MSI MS-1243 and MSI MS-1241 include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a multi-format card reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam and HDMI. Optionally, the user can integrate a TV tuner and a 3.5G module
to connect to mobile networks. The size of notebook MS-1243 ,
MS-1241 is 295 × 205×32 mm and weight is about 1.5 kilograms (with
battery included). The operating system is preinstalled Windows 7. The two notebook exceeded testing of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but their release dates are currently unknown.
