Chip firm Via is also venturing into the realm of twin core processors, according to the IDG news service.The wire reports that Via will introduce a twin core chip by June next year, aimed at the server market.
Via has demonstrated two Esther microprocessors working inside one chip package, and running in mini-ITX style motherboards.The wire said that the 32-bit chips will only consumer 3.5 Watts at clock speeds of GHz.
