Codework sees opportunities in Application Virtualization while migrating to Windows 7

(India PRwire) Codework are educating their partners on how best to offer their
customers solutions that will cut the cost and complexity of their move
by over 66%, saving hundreds of pounds per PC being migrated.

Sarah Geary, Marketing and Partner Relations said,

"Now
is the time for partners to be talking to their customers around their
plans for Windows 7. Codework have over 10 years direct experience of
how best to move to the next version of a Microsoft Operating System.
We are currently helping our partners to understand the 7-steps
required for a customer to move to Windows 7, and the approaches and
solutions available to cut massive cost and complexity out of each of
the steps for their customers".

Codework also believe the
move to Windows 7 is an excellent time for customers to consider an
Application Virtualisation approach for their software migration. One
of the biggest headaches for a company in the Windows 7 migration
process will be upgrading and moving their applications from Windows XP
to Windows 7. Sarah expands on this point, stating,

"Companies
can save huge amounts of money if they implement intuitive solutions
around software management. Techniques such as virtualising their
applications allow companies to gain many advantages over just
installing applications in the traditional way. These advantages
include reduced application conflicts, ability to easily run older
legacy XP applications, the ability to dynamically make applications
available to users, and to easily remove applications if they are not
being used by users. "

Codework are enthusiastic to talk to
more partners about the solutions and skills they can offer around
Windows 7 migration and Application Virtualisation to aid partners in
offering intuitive solutions to their customers.
