7Seas Technologies Limited, Hyderabad, India-based IP-based independent games development company, today announced the launch of its first 3D racing game concept for the PC Windows platform with multi-genre content –– Kraze®. Kraze®, the first-ever PC racing game to be developed in India, was launched by Tollywood hero Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Kraze®, developed for the mass market with an investment of Rs. 2 crore, is armed with an array of the most powerful cars ever designed. Players compete for the Kraze Championship which includes racing modes such as off road, rally, F1 and street race. Kraze® challenges the player’s concentration, car handling and racing skills on a variety of environments from narrow city lanes, perilous mountain cliffs to the shimmering sands of a mirage-strewn desert.
Enthralling sound and practical effects make the game more interactive and interesting. Kraze® will provide a realistic racing experience to the gamers with a realistic gaming environment with a thrilling racing experience and winning is a stepping stone into the next level.

A highly-talented and experienced team of 25 members, including game designers, programmers, concept writers, artistes and quality assurance engineers worked round-the-clock for two years in developing Kraze®. Kraze® has an accompaniment hip-hop vocal track composed in California, US, that makes the game more enjoyable.

For publishing and distribution of Kraze®, 7Seas has joined hands with Hyderabad-based Comprint for the Indian market and with UK -based Candella Systems Limited for the overseas market. With these publishing and distribution collaborations in place, Kraze® will now be for sale at more than 275 premier retail chain stores throughout India through Comprint. These include Landmark, Odyssey, Music World, Crossword, Planet M, Big Bazaar and Central stores. Besides, the Kraze game will be available across Comprint’s ‘GameX’ outlets and shop-in-shops. The game will be retailed in the stores for Rs 199 per CD.
“Kraze® will be available at all leading retail stores in the International markets through Candella Systems from the year 2010,” Mr Sanker said.
Kraze® will also be available for purchase via digital distribution portals such as www.gamestreamer.com (leading online games store), www.onlinerealgames.com (7Seas’ online gaming portal) and www.indiaplaza.in/kraze (an online store). Through this initiative, Kraze® game will be available to consumers online as well as offline.
