The new operator Mobile Norway aims to provide 75% of the population with one of the worlds most effective and modern 3G networks. More than 4.8 million people live in Norway, which covers more area than Germany.
Mikael Bäckström, President of Ericsson Baltic and Nordics, says: "Norwegians will now get access to advanced mobile broadband services. Quality of life and work efficiency will increase with this service.
Mobile Norway is owned jointly by Network Norway and Tele2.
