To err is human, here is the new Sony saying that the occasion of an official announcement might have accidentally revealed the PSP-4000.
Originally, this release was really nothing spectacular. It was meant to signal the introduction of new accessories dedicated to the PSP. These include protective covers stamped with the name Sony and LittleBigPlanet. The concern is that the poster in question announces compatibility for five different sets of PSP.
But so far, only four sets are known: the 1000, 2000, 3000 and finally N1000 (PSP-Go). The press, Sony has added extra for the 4000 series which currently exists only on paper. Simple accident or deliberate act? Sony should not delay to respond to this blunder winter.
Given the unpopularity of the SPP-GB players from distributors, Sony might want to distract attention or to quickly switch to something else. It makes sense …
