ASRock has developed a new cute little motherboard, A330ION, intended for use in small form factor (SFF) desktop computers. ASRock is gearing up to enter the ION arena in 2010 with the A330ION, a cute little motherboard based on the Nvidia-advertised platform that is embedded with a dual-core 1.6 GHz Atom 330 processor and has DDR3-1066 memory slots, one PCI-Express x16 slot and GeForce 9400 (DirectX 10) integrated graphics.
The upcoming board provides four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio (VIA VT2020 codec), two DIMM slots for DDR3-1066 memory with total capacity up to 4GB, Gigabit Ethernet, one PCI-Express x16 slot, as well as 7.1 channel audio (VIA VT2020 codec). ASRock A330ION is allowed to connect up to four devices with SATA II interface (SATA 3.0 Gbps) and include four USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI connector, etc.
