ASUS, a market leader in personal computer products, is displaying several of its latest offerings at the Pepcom Digital Experience! press event in New York today. Innovation is at the heart of ASUS design and this is especially true of its latest mobile computing products. Highlights of the show include the following products:

Transformer Pad Infinity: Incredibly Slim yet Incredibly Powerful
Featuring an ultra-slim form factor, the Transformer Pad Infinity is only 8.5mm (0.34”) thin and weighs in at a mere 598g (1.31lbs without dock). This makes watching movies, surfing the web, playing games, taking photos, finishing up homework or video chatting with friends or family so easy and natural that you’ll wonder if the Transformer Pad Infinity was designed specifically with you in mind. Its innovative metallic swirl design is made of solid aluminum for a secure yet extremely comfortable grip. The high-resolution 10.1” IPS display with 1920x1200 resolution offers a remarkably sharp and vivid viewing experience of photos, books, videos, games, and more in either landscape or portrait mode outdoors, indoors and even in low-light places like an airplane or train. With NVIDIA’s next-generation quad-core Tegra 3 processor featuring a 12-core GeForce GPU and vSMP technology at speeds up to 1.6GHz, the Transformer Infinity delivers an optimum user experience featuring smooth multitasking capabilities, lightning fast app loading, a rich and fluid web experience, full 1080P HD video for realistic media playback or recording and of course, incredible gaming performance. Thanks to advanced power management features the Transformer Prime has a battery life of up to 9.5 hours*, but when combined with the mobile dock, it lasts up to an incredible 14 hours*.

UX31A ZENBOOK Prime– Exquisite Design
ASUS is noted for its innovative approach to product design, and nowhere else is this more evident than in the radically updated UX Series, developed in close cooperation with Intel and based on feedback from consumers. These astonishingly thin Ultrabooks are made possible through the use of a strong but light aluminum alloy shell with a unique ‘spun’ finish on polished surfaces. The artistry of the series draws inspiration from luxury timepieces, displaying sharp edges, a new oversized keyboard with backlit capabilities and revised touchpad for added comfort, as well as reinforced hinges for easier operation and extended longevity. Measuring a mere 17mm at its thickest point, the needle-thin UX Series nonetheless packs impressive specifications, with the latest 3rd generation Intel Core i7 mobile processor, a brilliant 1920x1080 IPS display panel, SATA 6Gb/s solid-state drives, Bluetooth V4.0, dual-band 802.11N, USB 3.0, HDMI and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio technology. The Instant On feature, which resumes the notebook in about two seconds and features incredible standby times up to fourteen days* ensures the UX31A is always ready for work or play.
