Microsoft gives Extra 3GB SkyDrive Storage for Students and adds Photosynth panorama photo support

Microsoft continues to refine its service SkyDrive storage and synchronization and is now turning to the university campus in search of new users.

Microsoft has launched a website that allows students to benefit free 3 GB of additional storage for one year. Specifically it is sufficient to enter an email address type. On Edu page it will receive a code to unlock this offer. These 3 GB may be associated with any Microsoft account and will add to 7GB default storage (or 25 GB for the older accounts). If this offer is open to American students, it seems that the device works for some users located in other countries.

After inserting a chronological display of images stored by users in SkyDrive, Microsoft is preparing to embark panoramas created using the Photosynth application. Specifically, from the mobile application for iOS and Windows Phone, the user will be able to upload a snapshot to 360°. Currently, they can be sent over Photosynth.net.

The specialized site LiveSide.net which is related in accurate information, in addition, adds a Microsoft interactive mode of reading SkyDrive.com to view these panoramas.
