This June could be marked by several new things in terms of mobile applications including Instagram and BlackBerry Messenger.
At the summit of BlackBerry Live, which was held last month in Orlando, the Canadian manufacturer has announced a new strategy for its instant messaging client BlackBerry Messenger, or BBM. Currently used by 60 million followers, it is going to be made available on iOS and Android. According to the UK T-Mobile, the application will be specifically available at June 27,since it was briefly announced on its Twitter feed before removing the message shortly afterwards.
At CNET U.S, a spokesman for BlackBerry however denied this saying: “this date is completely wrong, we never give a specific date.” The question what really is will be known at the end of the month.
Meanwhile other rumors speculate again on Instagram service – owned by Facebook – for Windows Phone. In March wpdang site, explained that the application icon was seen on an advertisement for the Lumia 620 in Portugal. A source added that Nokia manufacturer has negotiated an exclusive contract for its Lumia range as well as an additional filter. According to BGR, the Chinese site now says that Instagram will appear on the mobile OS from Microsoft on Wednesday, June 26.
