Finally, absent from the Google I/O conference, the second generation of the Nexus 7 tablet can be foreseen at the month of July at a slightly higher than the standard $199 price.
If it seems clear, Google and Asus will soon present an evolution of the Nexus 7 tablet that has touched the public by offering attractive features at an aggressive price starting at $199, even though it has not been announced at the developers conference of Google I/O in May, contrary to expectations.
Nevertheless, the new tablet is still expected to launch in the month of July 2013, a year after the first model and could swap the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor for Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. And according to the site Digitimes, the basic version with 16 GB of internal memory, is expected to start at $229.
This is more than 199 dollars that serve as a reference for the new entry-level tablet, but Google does not wish to participate in the price war bringing fast enough tablets to $100 and would prefer to maintain a position in the niche of 200-250 dollars to target Amazon and Apple’s competitors.
