Blackberry has launched the deployment of an update 10.1 OS with benefits of, according to the Canadian enterprise, “hundreds of improvements”. Most are minor.
Deployed since Monday including in EMEA – thus including Europe – making 10.1.0.4537, Blackberry OS brings some interesting changes. It includes an acceleration in navigation messages for Blackberry Hub, avoiding having to go through the whole list every time, while the key “u” of Q10 allows direct access to the latest unread message. Synchronization with ActiveSync and IMAP has also been optimized for mobile users to retain their messages on their smartphone without time limit.
The company also states that they have optimized the navigation in the Blackberry World applications market to allow users to more easily find what they need. A wish list has also been included in the application, as the automatic update apps.
Finally, optimizing service for Balance, which separates personal tools and professional tools in the Hub, for better visibility and a better balance is also added.
The company ensures that there is still “much to discover” from this update, like the lock screen to support Chinese and Korean language.
