iCloud now allows synchronization of bookmarks with Chrome and Firefox on Windows

Apple has benefited from the launch of iOS 7 that can be updated via iTunes last night, but the iCloud Dashboard hosts an interesting novelty: the synchronization of bookmarks or favorites in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for Windows.

So far, for bookmarks, Apple sync Utility with Windows computers only supported Internet Explorer. Five years after the launch of MobileMe Control Panel, the new version of 3.0 software finally started to sync favorites of Chrome or Firefox with those of Safari. An extension is installed on Chrome or Firefox, but it unfortunately does not work independently, without the above utility.

OS X on the other hand has the only browser supported that is Safari. ICloud panel, which is part of System Preferences, will have to wait for an update of the operating system to be updated. But the mobile version of Safari will always be one step ahead of its competitors: it will remain the default browser.
