Amazon today launched two high Tablet (E-Reador) named as “Kindle Fire HDX” including one with 7-Inch Display and another with 8.9-inch display about which we are talking here. The bigger variant which is priced at the said price of $379 comes with 8.9 Inch Full HD display offering 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution with 339ppi density. This is quite enough and better for multimedia, reading as well as gaming purpose. Apart from display, Amazon has also offered powerful specification with Kindle Fire HDX. The tablet is running with 2.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU which is further supported with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU that makes the device even better for Gaming and Multimedia purpose.
The new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 comes with an 8 Megapixel rear camera and a front facing HD camera as well. Users can record upto 1080p video using the rear and upto 720p video using the front camera. The tablet comes with 3 different storage capacity that includes 16GB, 32GB and 64GB built-in storage capacity. Also it seems good in connectivity with options like HSPA+, Wi-Fi Dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi (MIMO+HT40), Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0, and GPS with aGPS. There will also be a 4G LTE variant but the price will be bit high.
According to Amazon, the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 will work upto 18 hours for reading purpose and with mixed usage the battery life offered will is 12 hours. Amazong will start shipping the tablet from Novermber 7th at the price of $379 and as said, the 4G variant will be availale at the price of $479 starting from December 10th.
