
The Panasonic Group is aimed at the professional market with the Toughpad 4K UT-MB5, first touch pad tablet PC to move to the Ultra HD 4K resolution.
Coming with Windows 8.1 Pro environment, the Panasonic touch tablet Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 offers a 20-inch display with a resolution of 3840 x 2560 pixels and a ratio of 15:10 on an IPS powered by an Nvidia graphics solution GeForce 745M 2GB. This results in a weight of 2.39 kg, which was intended more for stationary use (conference, meeting, etc.), presentation or public place (museum, shoowroom, etc.) to use it truly like a mobile device.
Under the hood there is an Intel Core i5-3437U 1.9-2.9 GHz dual-core processor, 8GB RAM, an SSD with a capacity of 256 GB and a battery that provides up to 2 hours of battery life. For the rest, it conjures up wireless connections of Wi-Fi 802.11n/Bluetooth 4.0, a connectivity including USB 3.0, SDXC slot and a 720p webcam.
At last there is an enhanced connectivity that allows resistance to falls from a height of 30.5 inches to 26 different angles and a height of 76 cm on the back (lit).
To be available later in January 2014, it will be sold at 5999 dollars and accompanied by a manufacturer's warranty of three years.
