Gigabyte Brix compact PC with built in projector launched

Gigabyte brand offers a new Brix compact PC with built-in projector.

Let's start with the mini-PC itself. It features an Intel Core i3 dual-core 4010U 1.7GHz processor, DDR3 memory up to 16 GB, an Intel HD 4400 graphics solution, Wi-Fi N/Bluetooth 4.0 connections, USB 3.0 ports/Gigabit Ethernet and an mSATA SSD with a capacity of up to 256 GB.

Now to the projector part (supplied by Texas Instruments), it proposes an image with a diagonal between 7 and 85 inches, a ratio of 16:9, contrast 900:1 and 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It can be used for mini-PC Projector, but can be also used as a touch pad or a notebook with the presence of an HDMI input. Note that there is always the alternative of a wired video connection via HDMI or Mini DisplayPort.

The device will be offered in the barebone format ie with elements chosen by the user (RAM, SSD and operating system). We are now waiting to get details of its marketing as soon as possible.
