Transcend brand unveils a new range of high performance memory cards for professionals.
Transcend brand, specializing in data storage solutions, has introduced a new range of memory cards. Named as CompactFlash 800x and based on NAND type flash memory MLC, this new range of memory cards target professionals for photo or video.
It comes in capacities of 64, 128 or 256 GB with peaks at 120 MB/s in reading and peaks at 60 MB/s writing phase.
As CompactFlash 1000x line can reach 160 MB/s, it is accompanied by a VPG-20 (Video Performance Guarantee) which provides a minimum of 20 MB/s during video capture to ensure the Full HD recording in good conditions.
Carrying a lifetime warranty, CompactFlash 800x 64, 128 and 256GB memory cards have been announced at $179, $349 and 699 dollars respectively.
