Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 with 16.3-megapixel sensor announced

Samsung Group presents the Galaxy Camera 2, the second version of its digital camera that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz overlay graph.

Also known through its GC200 reference, this camera comes with dimensions of 13.3 x 7.1 x 1.9 cm and weighs 283 grams and has a 16.3 megapixel sensor, a 21x optical zoom and a Xenon flash.

Preview and management functions pass through a Super Clear LCD screen of 4.8 inches in a definition  of 1280 x 720 pixels with protection against scratches due to Gorilla Glass 2.

For connectivity 3G/4G/Wi-Fi 802.11n/Bluetooth 4.0/ Micro USB 2.0 for sharing photos online or with the computer, while GPS connection lets you consider geotagging. There is also an HDMI output for connecting to the TV.

As for data storage, it passes through a 2.8 GB memory – 8 GB on – MicroSD memory card – Support up to 64GB microSDXC – and a 50 GB Dropbox Cloud.

To animate the whole, it's couple with a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor + 2 GB RAM was selected. A Lithium-Ion 2000 mAh battery provides power.

The arrival of this camera on the shelves will occur during February.
