
Alcatel One Touch brand, behind which there is the Chinese TCL group, benefits from CES in Las Vegas to announce its One Touch POP C9 smartphone positioned as midrange.
With its 5.5 inches qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) on an IPS panel, the Alcatel One Touch POP C9 plays in phablet category, mobile devices at the border of smartphone and tablets.
As for its technical specs, there is a quad core processor by MediaTek that operates at 1.3 GHz and 1 GB RAM and the OS on board is Android in its version 4.2 Jelly Bean.
In terms of functionality, you can enjoy 3G+/Wi-Fi, connectivity of GPS/Bluetooth, camera of 8 and 2 megapixel sensor and a flash memory of 4 GB will be possible to complete it with a MicroSD memory card format (MicroSDHC compatibility, up to 32 GB). Lithium-Ion battery charge power for up to 8 hours on 2G and up to 4 hours on 3G.
However no information on availability is given. Maybe we will know more about it in February at the MWC in Barcelona, annual event mobility.
