Yahoo! adds default active 2048-bit SSL encryption for communications emails for users.
As promised last October, Yahoo! enables the automatic encryption for all users of its email service for Yahoo! Mail. Plus only to connect to the account but also for the security of the entire session. In other words, the end-to-end which is not optional.

Yahoo! states that it extends to emails, attachments, contacts and calendaring and instant messaging Mail pieces.
This building is the first step and by the end of the first quarter, encryption also involve all the data flowing between own data centers of Yahoo!. This is part of the process of post-Snowden measures to regain the trust of users.
